The UW Tacoma's School of Nursing and Healthcare Leadership focuses on the discovery and dissemination of knowledge that promotes health. Faculty emphasize and foster the integration of teaching, inquiry and service with the community of learners. Partnership with healthcare organization and the community provide learning environments in which students build upon their skills and knowledge to strengthen their understanding of local, national and global health issues and ability to address selected issues.
